Garth Rose Consulting was formed in April, 2009 with the goal of becoming a trusted resource for small and medium business leaders. As of April 2020 we are in our eleventh year of business and have now worked with over 350 businesses that range from small startups to established companies with revenues in excess of $100 million. The type of companies we work with are really diverse and the locations are across the world from the U.S. to Canada, Australia New Zealand and to the U.K.
GARTH ROSE ~ I have had the opportunity to either hold or manage pretty much every sales role in a business over the past 25 years. I’ve been the President & CEO of a venture-backed software startup, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for several companies, and have spent years “in the trenches” selling, managing sales & marketing, and streamlining lead generation, sales quotas, sales territories etc.
For the past eleven years I have spent significant time coaching and training leaders – CEO’s, Presidents, General Managers as well as many young, next-generation leaders. I believe my background makes me a strong executive coach as I adapt quickly, I can quickly spot the issues, and I can recommend practical solutions that work for my clients.
As the CEO of my second rapidly growing business, I often go to Garth when I think things are going “too well” and want to see where we may be exposed. What I so value in Garth is that he quickly extracts a relevant experience from the various leadership positions he’s held to help generate a solution for me. Garth’s disciplined and organized ability to deliver concise and effective communication rivals that of the vast majority of the military contacts I’ve worked with when I was in the armed forces- a huge testimonial considering that those messages often dealt with life or death issues for our troops. His style is personal and collaborative yet critical; he recognizes that I didn’t hire him to tell me how great we are, rather how we can build the business we envision. Our success is directly tied to his influence. I enjoy working with Garth and I highly recommend him. ~David M. Gowel, CEO, Rockefeller Consulting Technology Integration
ELIZABETH ROSE ~ I have been a practicing attorney since 1999, with a focus on mediation. In addition to this work, I have diverse business experience—including contract law, Entertainment Law, LLC’s and corporations, retail and wholesale business experience including managing retail stores in both New York and Massachusetts, and coaching, teaching and mentorship—and I have gained incredible knowledge which has afforded me the opportunity to cultivate many different skills.
My use of the Talent Analytic Assessments has been a benchmark for understanding the dynamics in all the work I do. In my mediations, these systems have enabled me to understand fully what makes my clients process, interact and communicate the way they do, which, in turn, allows me to help them navigate the difficult conversations and negotiations—whether a divorce, a business opportunity or an artistic collaboration. To be able to help people communicate and negotiate effectively is incredibly rewarding.
When I work with families or within the organizational structure of a business, helping people understand their own behavioral styles, as well as the styles of those people they are relating to, is the first step in creating authentic communication. From there, we are able to develop strategies and implement structures to support continued dialog.
I am currently the Board Chair of a local, independent school in Ojai, California. Previously, I was the Board Chair of an award winning theater in Los Angeles.
I am able to reference my business, legal, and coaching experience as I work with clients and businesses to identify the complexities in people’s behavioral styles and what motivates them to succeed within your organization. I am available to help with hiring, addressing questions about advancement and promotion, developing strategies to support and grow each employee that you have, and work with you to develop healthy dynamics and relationships between all your employees—whether peer to peer, manager to staff, or in deconstructing the family dynamics that exist in a family business—to help foster strong communication and understanding.
BRIAN JAUDON ~ I bring over a decade of experience working with leadership teams in a variety of industries including manufacturing, technology, health care and construction. My clients are my biggest teachers—as I draw upon my extensive training in family systems, mediation and emotional intelligence.
I have worked with many UBT-affiliated businesses to clarify their company’s vision (where they want to be), their high-level strategy (how they will get there) and values (that drive a healthy and inspiring work culture).
All of my work with clients centers around the idea of collective wisdom— specifically, that all organizations contain most of the wisdom and expertise needed to be successful. My role as an organizational guide supports organizations in navigating this journey in a way that promotes ownership, alignment and commitment at all levels of the company.
I see my relationship with my clients as a co-creative partnership. Nothing I do with client organizations is off the shelf—everything is customized to fit the unique needs and DNA of each company. Every client engagement typically starts with some form of assessment to identify current growing pains, strengths, awareness gaps and developmental opportunities. Once that baseline data is gathered, a prioritized roadmap and organizational development plan is created with clear deliverables, timelines and success indicators. All development is valuable—the key is arriving at a development plan that is tied to each company’s vision, strategy and goals.
TEAGAN ROSE ~ I bring over ten years experience in movement, dance and mind/body connection to my somatic therapy practice. Trained in Holistic Coaching, Dance Therapy and Foundation Training, in our sessions I support and guide you in moving emotions that may be causing discomfort, pain, numbness, or illness in your experience of life. Together, we create a map of understanding your body and what parts of you are in need of movement to free up that which is feeling stuck.
Emotion and unresolved trauma hold tangible and physical space in the body. Somatic therapy looks at the connection of mind and body and uses both psychotherapy and physical therapies for healing. In addition to talk therapy, somatic therapy practitioners use mind-body exercises and other physical techniques to help release the emotional trauma that is locked in the body and negatively affects physical and emotional wellbeing.
