I've had the opportunity to either hold or manage pretty much every sales role in a business over the past 25 years. I've been the President & CEO of a venture-backed software startup, Vice President of Worldwide Sales for several companies, and have spent years "in the trenches" selling, managing sales & marketing, and streamlining lead generation, sales quotas, sales territories etc. I believe my background makes me a strong sales and management consultant as I adapt quickly, I can quickly spot the issues, and can focus on solutions that work.
I formed Garth Rose Consulting Group in April, 2009 with the goal of solving business sales issues. As of April 2017 we are into our eighth year and have now worked with more than 250 businesses that range from businesses with a few million in revenues to established companies with revenues in excess of $100 million. We work with companies from across the world including the U.S., Canada, Australia, New Zealand and the U.K. We started as one enthusiastic and passionate consultant helping a group of clients but have now added three wonderful additions to our passionate team.
I have over 24 years of experience in Sales, Sales Management and Marketing. As a successful media and sales Executive, I have been a leader in the launch and growth of a number of publications and companies across the country.
Prior to joining Garth Rose Consulting Group, I held a variety of sales management and executive positions with companies like New York Times Co., Metrocorp Media, Greenspun Media Inc., and BuyWithMe.com.
I currently serve as an instructor for Start -Up institute where I teaches sales strategy and planning. I am also a mentor for Mass Challenge and Youth Cities and coaches young start-ups through these programs.
I am a 2002 graduate of the prestigious Leadership Las Vegas program and a 2009 Graduate of the Boston Future Leaders Program through the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce.
As a proud Red Raider, I am honored to serve as a member of the National Board of Directors for the College of Mass Communications at Texas Tech University.
I graduated with a B.A. degree in Advertising from Texas Tech University and am currently residing in Marshfield, MA with my family.
I am a leadership coach and organizational development consultant based in Greenville, South Carolina. For 17 years I have worked with leaders at all levels from front-line supervisor trainings to C-Suite executives – drawing on my extensive training in family systems psychology, emotional intelligence work, behavior change theory and mediation.
I quickly diagnose my clients’ internal and external barriers to leadership and organizational effectiveness and clarify strategies needed for individual self leadership and collective team synergy. As a behavioral change specialist, I created and developed an innovative method for understanding what truly drives leaders in their communication, behavior and decision making.
Over the years, I have provided leadership development coaching and training to a wide range of organizations and industries including RetroFit Technologies, Four Seasons Hospice, The North Highland Company, Harrah’s Cherokee Casino, Colbond, Inc., and many more. I am a frequent guest lecturer to management and leadership students at the Rosen College of Hospitality in Orlando and give keynote addresses as well.
I knew a career in leadership was a goal of mine ever since I started college. I first began my leadership journey as a President of two clubs and organizations on my college campus. After college I had the opportunity to put my leadership skills and organizational change skills to practice. I worked for a College in Ventura County in a position where I mentored and taught students at various ages and stages in life. Leadership skills are valuable at any stage of life, whether in education, starting a business, managing a business, or even facilitating change within your company. I have assisted with many networking opportunities, connecting businesses, helped with finding and hiring potential candidates, restructuring processes and communication between corporate, individual departments and campuses.
My Masters Degree is in Organizational Leadership from National University, and Bachelors Degree is in Psychology from California State University of Channel Islands, and Associates Degree is in Psychology from Saddleback College.
